Gavin Cummins is an accomplished puppeteer and teaching artist who has made the Pacific Northwest his home since 2000. A graduate of Northern Arizona University, he was trained as a teaching artist at the Teaching Artist Training Lab hosted by the Seattle Repertory Theatre. A founder of the long-running Fussy Cloud Puppet Slam, he holds an MFA in Puppet Arts from the University of Connecticut where he served as a museum assistant at the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry. He was an Emerging Artist at the National Puppetry Conference and has performed puppet shows across the United States. Most recently, he was a puppeteer with the Great Arizona Puppet Theatre and later the Executive Artistic Director of Thistle Theatre in Seattle WA.
